Well, here’s a shocker (insert sarcasm here).
Nigel Lythgoe revealed in an interview, with an Australian newspaper, that Simon Cowell is the highest paid judge out of Cowell, Paula Abdul and Randy Jackson.
People may dislike Simon, but he rakes in the viewers. Many tune in, week after week, to see what snarky comments Simon will make next. The man hasn’t made it this far in the entertainment industry without learning a thing or two about how to make money. It must be nice to earn $36 million per year for being on American Idol.
