Jason Castro Sings “Memory”

Jason Castro was the second person to take the stage tonight. He chose the very popular song “Memory” from the musical, Cats.

Webber said in the video before Jason’s performance that he wouldn’t be surprised if Castro ignored everything he said and did a better performance because of it.

Randy thought it was a bit of a train wreck. He did like Jason singing the song with dreadlocks. He thought it was too much melody for Randy.
Paula said that everyone is use to hearing a female sing the song but she felt he made a wise choice by picking the song he did. She felt it showed his uniqueness.
Simon felt like it was the longest two minutes. He thought it came over like a young guy being forced to sing a song by his mother and dad at a wedding. He felt it was a struggle.
