Idol Gives Back

Next week on April 9, 2008 American Idol will be airing this year’s episode of Idol Gives Back. There goal this year is to raise more then they did last year for the charities: the Children’s Defense Fund, The Global Fund, Make It Right, Malaria No More, Save The Children, U.S. Programs and the Children’s Health Fund.

The show will start at 7:30 p.m. EST on the 9th and will run for two and a half hours with performances and guest appearances from the following people: Miley Cyrus, Billy Ray Cyrus, Mariah Carey duet with Marvin Gaye, Brad Pitt, Snoop Dogg, Reese Witherspoon, Daughtry, Bono, Carrie Underwood, Peyton Manning, Eli Manning, Annie Lennox, John Legend, Dane Cook, Robin Williams, Billy Crystal, Ellen DeGeneres Co-host, Boyz II Men, Maroon 5, Gloria Estefan, Celine Dion, Kiefer Sutherland, Vanessa Hudgens, Ashley Tisdale, Jennifer Connolly, Elliot Yamin, Fantasia, Amy Adams and the Clark Brothers.
