David Archuleta is Singing “The Long and Winding Road”

David Archuleta just took the stage and put his own spin on The Beatles song, “The Long and Winding Road.” Randy thought the crowd had it right when they clapped because he felt that David brought back his hotness. However, he did feel that he could have gotten away with more runs during the song. Paula was excited the most by David’s performance. She felt it was wonderful because it showed the purity of who he is. She felt he was identifiable to people. She also praised his ability to rise above the adversity of his prior week’s performance which was less then stellar due to forgetting his lyrics. He came back strong and she like that. Her best comment was by far that challenges don’t build character, they reveal it. Simon reiterated what Randy and Paula both said by saying that David was amazing. He was a master class performance that proved the point he made about the previous contestant.
